The Portuguese Podengo Medio is a spirited little hunter, always on the lookout for something interesting. Their keen senses mean every rustle in the bushes or scampering squirrel is an invitation to explore. They are incredibly agile and possess surprising bursts of speed, making them born adventurers who thrive on active engagement. While independent and sometimes a tad stubborn, they form deep, albeit not overly demonstrative, bonds with their families. They are clever and can be quite amusing with their antics, but their prey drive is strong and requires mindful management.
