The Redbone Coonhound is an outgoing, confident companion whose enthusiasm for life is infectious. They possess a deep, booming "bay" that speaks volumes about their historical purpose: tracking game over vast distances. While incredibly affectionate with their families, their powerful noses and independent spirit mean they'll readily follow an intriguing scent, sometimes to the exasperation of their human.
