The Welsh Springer Spaniel is a joyful, energetic companion, always up for an adventure. Their intelligent eyes miss nothing, and they possess a cheerful optimism that’s truly infectious. These active dogs thrive on being part of the family, forming intensely loyal bonds and showering their people with affection. Originally agile hunting dogs, they retain a keen nose and a love for exploring, often bounding through tall grass with an excited wag of their distinctive docked tail. While generally amiable, their boisterous nature and abundant energy mean they flourish with consistent training and plenty of opportunities to burn off steam, lest they decide to redecorate (chew) the furniture.
